An interesting book for semi-raw foodists, particularly sprout lovers. Some of the sprout recipes, like bread, bagels, and pizza, do call for slow-baking, but the author promises that this will not kill the ingredients. There is ample information about dehydrating, nutrition, juicing, and much more. Strict raw foodists should pass on this book, but for anyone who is just starting out or is not 100% raw, take a look at this book.

This book contains a section of raw food recipes, but it's main purpose is to serve as a health manual for everything related to a healthy understanding of and attitude toward food, including the environmental affects of what we eat, digestion, nutrition, and more. The focus of the book is on an Ayurvedic, raw food diet, but the author also provides tips on creating and sticking with a diet that works for each individual.
