Ive been reading a lot lately re: certified and non-certified organic for fruits and veggies. I guess the certified is an important consideration, without it, crops right next door (including over-spray) can impact the quality of the crops that are suppose to be organic. What are your thoughts on this Laura?
Still waiting for organic CA avocados to return to the stores, here in Canada!!!

Nothing is fool-proof; I just figure we need to do our best. Organic, local, free-range… choose products with as many of these labels as possible. Spray from neighboring farms is almost impossible to avoid, but since I buy organic primarily for environmental rather than health reasons, I don’t dwell on that. At least my purchases are not contributing to the use of pesticides, and I always wash everything before I eat it.
