Condiments & Dressings

Some meals just aren’t complete without a table full of condiments and dressings, so try these on for size.

Aïoli

If you’ve never tasted this garlicky mayonnaise, you’re in for a real treat.

Avocado Hemp Dressing

Avocado blended with garlic and hemp oil makes an unusual and delicious salad dressing.

Basil Oil

When you eat basil, don’t throw those leafless stems away – use them to make a delicious basil-infused oil that tastes like summer.

Caesar Dressing

Caesar salad often comes with anchovies, which offer a salty, “oceany” flavor. This Caesar dressing uses arame (a type of seaweed) to offer a similar kind of flavor to vegetarians.

Caramelized onions

To caramelize onions, you need to cook them for a long time in a bit of oil. The hardest part of this recipe is waiting for them to finish!

Cheesy Croutons

These warm and bubbly croutons go equally well with soup and salad.

Garlic Dressing / Dip

Creamy, vegan, garlic salad dressing.

Green Goddess Dressing

Invented in the 1920′s in honor of William Archer’s eponymous play, green goddess dressing is brightly colored and delicious.

Harissa

Harissa is a fiery Moroccan paste made of chilis, garlic, and spices.

Herb Dip

OK, so it’s very fattening, but it’s also very tasty. It’s ok to treat yourself once in a while!
