I hated beets when I was a kid, but then as an adult I discovered that they don’t come from cans. Fresh beets are packed with flavor, and this French beet salad couldn’t be easier to make.

Vegetables are full of vitamins, and drinking vegetable juice is a wonderful way to get a big dose of them. But there’s no need to rush out and buy V-8 juice when you can make your own. Pick and choose your veggies from the list below, but for maximum benefit, it’s best to include at least five different ones.
