New Recipes and Features

Green Goddess Dressing
Invented in the 1920's in honor of William Archer's eponymous play, green goddess dressing is brightly colored and delicious.

Sour Cherry Cobbler
If you are lucky enough to find fresh sour cherries, make this cherry cobbler immediately. It's sweet and tart and downright amazing.

More Recipes

Cashew Chili
Here's what a member of the forum had to say about this recipe: "Everyone I have made this for loves it, be they vegetarians or meat eaters. My girlfriend hates chili and after months of insisting that she try it she finally gave in. Now she wants to make it any chance she gets. If you have not tried this and like something a little spicy I suggest you make it."

Summer Recipes
When it's hot out, you probably don't want to eat something hot, let alone stand over the stove cooking it for an hour. Here are some recipes for "hot weather foods" that require a minimum of cooking and allow maximum enjoyment of the warm weather.

Veggie Talk

Tips for a new vegetarian
I'm a 26 year old female and have been vegetarian for 2 days now. Does anyone know any good cook books for me to start off with? Has anyone noticed a change in how they feel since becoming vegetarian, any side effects? Also should I take vitamins - what would be a good one to take?
