vegetarianRecipe: Peanut Butter Smoothie

A blend of peanut butter and banana makes an excellent smoothie.

Yield 1 smoothie
Time 3 minutes
Tools
  • ice cube tray
  • blender
Ingredients
  • 1 c soy milk + 3-4 ice cubes
        OR
    10-12 soy milk ice cubes*
  • 2-4 T smooth peanut butter
  • 1 T honey or sugar
  • 1 ripe banana, fresh or frozen
Directions Blend milk/cubes until ground up, add peanut butter, sweetener, banana, and any desired additions (e.g., protein powder). Blend until smooth.
Notes *You can freeze soy milk in an ice cube tray.

I typically use plain soy milk, but you could try flavored varieties as well.
