These delicious chocolate-nut candies are easy to make and will keep for two weeks (if they last that long!)

Directions | Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth, or microwave for 1-2 minutes and stir until smooth.
Double up the fluted cups so that you have 16 "two-ply" candy cups. Pour some melted chocolate into each, then press the nuts in. Chill for 1 hour, until set. If you don’t eat them right away, cover tightly and keep refrigerated. |
Notes | You can use dried fruit like dried cherries, cranberries, apricots, figs, and raisins, either with or instead of the nuts. You can also include fresh fruit like strawberries or cherries, but then the candies will only be good for one day. |
