Directions | Whisk together the ground flax seeds and water until foamy. Set aside.
Mash the beans with the oil and garlic in the medium bowl. Stir in the nutritional yeast and flax seeds, then add the gluten and soy sauce and mix until completely combined. Let rest for 15 minutes. Heat the grill or frying pan over medium-high heat. Stir the mixture again, then form into 4 burgers. Grill or fry on each side 5 minutes. |
Notes | If you don’t like the rare, red meat look to these burgers, feel free to substitute another kind of bean. They’ll still taste just as good! |
