Cheesy Croutons

These warm and bubbly croutons go equally well with soup and salad. Cheesy croutons
Yield 6 servings
Time 15 minutes
  • knife
  • grater
  • baking sheet
  • 12 slices French bread, cubed
  • ½ c cheese (cheddar, Swiss, Parmesan-style, bleu…), grated
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 t Dijon mustard
  • pepper
Directions Arrange bread cubes on the baking sheet and toast until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, mix the remaining ingredients, sprinkle over the bread cubes, then broil until cheese melts and begins to brown.

Serve warm with your favorite soup or salad.
