Tahini sauce is super simple and works well in sandwiches or as a salad dressing.
Yield: 1½-2 cups
Time: 5 minutes
Tools
- bowl
- whisk
Ingredients
- 1 c tahini
- ¼ to ½ c lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t salt
- ½-1 c water
Directions
Stir the tahini until smooth, then add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until completely smooth.
Taste and adjust seasonings.
Keep it thick for a dip or spread, or add more water for a sauce or dressing.
Notes
Thick tahini sauce is great as a sandwich spread or dip, while thinner tahini sauce can be drizzled over falafel, salad, or vegetables.
