Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delicious and not too sweet.

Ingredients
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • ½ t salt
  • 1 c butter, softened
  • ¾ c sugar
  • ¾ c brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 12 oz chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions Preheat oven to 350º and lightly butter the cookie sheet.

Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in the small bowl; set aside.

Cream the butter with both sugars in the large bowl, then beat in eggs and vanilla.

Gradually add dry mixture, then chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop spoonfuls of dough on cookie sheet(s).

Cook for 10 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes My husband makes these and keeps them in the freezer. They get cold but don’t really freeze, and are lovely with a cup of tea in the summer.
