Recipe:
Spanish-Style Green BeansA very
quick and simple way to enjoy fresh green beans.

- knife
- large pot
- colander
- large frying pan
- wooden spoon

| Ingredients |
- 1˝ pounds green beans
- 1˝ T olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- salt
- pepper
|
| Directions |
Fill pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil over high heat.
Meanwhile, trim the green beans and cut them in half. Add to boiling water
and cook about 5 minutes, until tender but still crisp. Drain. Heat oil
over medium heat, add garlic, and sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add beans, salt, and pepper, and cook, still stirring constantly for 2-3
minutes, until hot. Serve immediately. |
