vegetarian Recipe: Lemonade

The ultimate summertime drink - fresh, sweet-tart lemonade.

Yield 4-6 servings
Time 5 minutes
Tools
  • Juicer
  • Pitcher or large bowl
  • Wooden spoon
Ingredients
  • 1½ c fresh lemon juice (about 8 large lemons)
  • ½ c sugar
  • 5 c cold water
Directions Mix the ingredients, taste, and add more juice, sugar, or water as needed.

Chill, then serve over ice, garnished with lemon wedges or slices.

Notes For a bubbly lemonade, use seltzer or club soda in place of the water.

Try minty lemonade too.
