Preheat oven to 425. Arrange pie crust in the pie plate and set aside.
Over medium heat, heat the butter without stirring until it melts and turns golden brown, about 5-8 minutes. Pour into a bowl and set aside.
Combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup, honey, vanilla, and salt in food processor, and blend until smooth. Add butter, blend, add pecans, and pulse two or three times.
Pour filling into the pie crust. Bake for 12 minutes, lower oven temperature to 325, and continue baking for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven (the filling will still be a bit runny) and allow to cool completely.
