Recipe: Croutons
Homemade croutons are a snap to make!

| Tools |
- sauté or frying pan
- wooden spoon
- cookie sheet
|
| Ingredients |
- 2 T butter or olive oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 4 slices sandwich bread or 8 slices French bread (stale is fine) cut into cubes
|
| Directions |
Preheat oven to 300°F. Melt the butter or heat the olive oil and add the garlic. Mix well, then add the cubed bread. Sauté for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then transfer to a cookie sheet and place in the oven for about 10 minutes, until crispy.

Serve with soup, salad, or whatever else you like croutons with. |
