| Vegetarian Winter Dishes It's cold, it's windy, there might even be snow. I don't know about
you, but all I want to do is stay inside where it's warm, preferably
with some hearty, stick-to-your-ribs food. Here are some recipes for
winter foods.
Apricot Cherry Compote
It's easy to make compote: just stew up some dried fruit and enjoy it with
dessert.
Barley Soup
This barley soup recipe from Sicily is a perfect vegan alternative
to chicken soup when you're feeling under the weather.

have a lot more flavor.
Ginger-Brandy Cheesecake
Sweet, rich cheesecake with
